Default Blinded by the TRUTH. Part 1.

While I don't post much on the forum any more, I still have to find a little time through the week to pop in and see what's going on.

Now a little history about myself: I have owned a Blinder M-20, and for a minute I owned a Blinder M-25. In the beginning I was a Blinder puppet, who believed Roy and Leon that they are the bees knees. At the time the only game in town was Blinder, or a few knock offs, so it wasn't like there was a lot of competition.

My original Blinder M20 was a decent unit, and amazingly enough would have been useless had I never ran into the Veil Guy. This was on a black 2003 mitsu evo 8. The car was incredibly stealthy without any help, so imagine my surprise the first time I shot the Blinder M20 and got 1000FT punch through. WTF I thought. Roy a retired cop told me it was the best, his results showed it was the best. WTF was going on with my unit?

The truth? Nothing was wrong with my unit, I just bought into the hype. And this is the purpose of this thread, to inform YOU the consumer, about the lies and manipulation that are ongoing in this industry.

Every year you can count on Blinder coming out with a new jammer, that's supposed to be 100x better than the last year. How many times have we heard this is the year Torbin got it right? Every year at GoL I'm always excited to test the Blinder, because every year I have hoped they would finally live up to the claim. Who couldn't get behind there customer service? Who wouldn't want to support a small business owner?

I hope Blinder doesn't feel I'm picking on them, as they have brought this onto themselves, but I'm tired of the lies, I'm tired of the manipulation, and since it doesn't seem that the GoL results are teaching people anything, I'm going to sit down and spell it out for you.

Stay tuned for part 2 in the coming days, where we start way back in 2005 with myself in the back woods of Delaware, filming the first ever INDEPENDENT no bull laser jammer test with the veil guy.

If you don't like what I have to say, then don't bother posting here, as I won't entertain your drivel, or fanboyism.

Just wanted to give a big thanks to the guys in Georgia for your newest test of the M27. You have proven what I have been saying all along. So if you want the cliff notes.

Blinder lies, the product doesn't get better, and it's the same crap year after year.

Well you spared me from posting another thread. I was literally about to ask if there had actually been any independent testing with skilled shooters, in depth results (ie graphs, videos, etc.) vs a lot of just "ohh the new Blinder is awesome." Sounds like the GA boys will have answers.

This is going to get interesting.

How did “Radar Roy” Dominate Radar Detector Sales Online When He Never Sold A Single One?

    Spoiler: show

Sales came easily. He sold you a persona. He sold “Radar Roy.” He sold an ex-cop and expert. He sold a guy who was nice enough to cross over from being “the man.” He shared knowledge and recommendations directly with his “Perfect Customer.” His message created their “Fantasy Result” of not getting speeding tickets. And oh by the way, if you had interest in buying a radar detector, Roy Reyer’s Radarbusters network of 45 websites would also be nice enough to sell you exactly what you needed. This is how he built the multi-million dollar online empire that totally dominated an industry.

I was almost always happy with my blinder. Fortunately for me- I had a small car, veil, and a prime mounting location on my SILVER cavalier. Even without veil, my performance was decent. Enough to save me from tickets which is what I care about.

I think that Blinder has finally built a solid foundation, but they are still running with old tech (LED's) . Its like having a brand new computer system, with 1TB Rapter HD, with 16GB DDR3 RAM, ATI X295 with a 600mhz Pentium III chip.

However, staton, I would wait for another round/more of tests to come by and maybe "confirm" their findings. Like me, I was unaware that I mounted mine upside down, which it is claimed (by members I trust) it makes a huge performance difference. There was no way of my knowing this until I had looked at it under night vision. Maybe some of those results are related to my mistake, maybe they are not.

I am looking forward to blinded by the truth part 2, where I am sure the results will show the truth.

How do you tell if a M-20 is mounted upside down, if you don't have night vision. I have never heard of this before, information that would have been helpful three years ago.
