Blinder M27 on Benz
Tested the Blinder M27 on my Benz (has Veil and a Laser Shield) and it was basically JTG on the Tru Speed and LTI LRB. My previous Blinders on the same exact location were giving me 300 to 400' PT's while my ZR4's were........... well I will not go there. It was if I was testing a Blinder on steroids. I also love the ability to customize it to my liking. Programming it was awesome. It is nice to see Blinder step up their game and put their money in making huge improvements. This is their best version yet period.

Agreed. I think you need Veil though for the headlights if you want JTG performance from the M27

I really hate to de-rail this thread, but I've seen you say this several times over on front ends that I wouldn't expect Veil to be necessary and I'm not sure why. Did I miss a thread discussing the detriment of M27s without Veil?

Not true in every instance. I will say on some but certainly not every install. I have seen several members get JTG with the M27 and M47 without Veil. But on some cars it will help.

I actually derailed this thread so I apoligize for doing so. I recently did a test against a M47 (two heads on front and two on rear). It was JTG on center mass shots but when I started targeting the headlights I was getting readings around 500 ft. I haven't seen another test done on a M27 without Veil. Different cars yield different results so may be Veil won't be necassary. Better to be safe than sorry.

It was a truck... remember that M27 is recommended for cars... that's from what I've learned from Blinder-Guy

That is correct. I know what vehicle he is talking about because I sold it to the person. I would not recommend a M27 for a truck. Category4's F150 got JTG with a M27 but he does use Veil. That is a rare case. Even though the Blinder M27 and M47 do perform better than the M25 and M45 I still do not recommend putting a M27 on a truck or SUV.
Forum mbr TOM has a Infinity and he got JTG with the M27 and I believe LangGuy got JTG as well. There are more that I have read but can't remember.

Re: Blinder M27 on Benz
Happya$$ said in the original post that it already has Veil, so it's sort of a moot point, isn't it?
