Where to mount M27 heads on Mini Cooper?

Hey everyone,

I have a Blinder M27 on the way and just wanted some advice as to placement. Where should I mount the heads to get the best performance?

Lower outer corners of the upper honeycomb grille, just above the bumper. Yes, you'll probably have to cut the grille. No, you can't just stick them under the bumper and still get the same results.

I appreciate it. It's funny, you answered the questions as they'd pop into my head.

Haha thanks again, and thanks to snoopyc4 for the pic. I have a 2006 which is a little different but for this purpose that picture works.

I've been thinking over my install a little more and the placement on the upper honeycomb grille would make things a little complex. Since it goes up and down with the hood, it would make running wires a little more involved.

How about placing them as circled in yellow here? If I remove the honeycomb grille, these areas are exposed. I have the stock surround which will be painted black and run underneath/on the sides. I figure if I'm cutting anyways, I can cut away the circled region and paint the blue in between matte black. Or if worse comes to worse, mount heads on it (no cutting) since this area will now be exposed.
