sensors out.
Depends upon the car and the mounting location.
Typically sensors out, but as Stealth said it can vary by installation. If they are mounted to the extreme outside then sensors in other than that sensors out.
When we tested the M27/47, it was critical to have them mounted sensors out. it made a considerable difference in results once we changed them.

Sensors are in on my truck. RadarRob and I tested again with his ProLaser2 Friday afternoon and got JTG, but yesterday I got hit from sub 400ft with a slight off axis shot with a ProLaser3 and he only lit me up for about 5 seconds (blinder is set for 1 second alerting). Did he get PT? He shot me through his windshield while he was in the turn lane, which really took me off guard and I was going +5 in a small town.
Well in 5 seconds you should have already slowed and killed the jammers!!! WTF are you waiting for, them to ban jammers in your area. Keep screwing with the locals and see what happens. Eventually they will stop you, write you for some BS charge and make you spend thousands of $ to defend yourself. All because you want to see if you can JTG.
Nothing looks funnier than a big vehicle like yours not giving a fairly quick speed on a lidar gun. keep it up I'll be here laughing when they punk your butt!!
Try it this way!! Notice how the V1 continues after the Blinder quits alerting!!

Infiniti never trip my RD and this was the only time its been a real laser encounter where it wasn't tripped.
So yeah thats why I didn't jump out of my seat to flip the switch like I had done 10 times that day.
You can make all the excuses you want, but I see a pattern here, new jammers installed, 2 encounters with jammers posted up on the forum, 2 attempts at JTG.
Assume every frickin time your jammers or detector goes off it's a legitimate threat and act accordingly until you can prove otherwise, or you will eventually get busted. Getting complacent is the first step to getting caught.
They are not infallable systems.
