M27 install just completed
M27 install just finished, used a cheetah wireless system. I am using the power node because, I'm using positive and negative ground terminals in the engine compartment for power. It's hot all the time, not just when you start the engine. It's a BMW 328i and the battery's in the trunk. Because I used the cheetah it did not give me the same flashing sequence upon startup indicating the heads were being programed. If the heads were not properly programed because the start up sequence was interupted how would I know? When I start up the car, the remote display shows me a green light and a red light lit simeoultaniously. Occasionally, and very randomly the green light will go out for a second and then reapear. When the green light goes out, am I unprotected or, is it just a momentary loss of signal with the engine compartment? It might happen as a result of a servo or some other electronic applinace in the car car being turned on or off confusing the power node. Just an idea. Or is this occasionsal wink out of the green light normal?

Re: M27 install just completed
You need to email Al from Speed Cheetah. I am not sure if you have the old wireless kit or the new. The old wireless kit will not operate correctly with the Mx7 series Blinder. The problem you are describing I have never experienced before. You would be beter to go straight to the manufacturer of the wireless kit for the answer to this one and confirm you have the correct. Wireless kit.

Re: M27 install just completed
Why don't you just plug the heads directly into the CPU to program them and then use the wireless system?

Re: M27 install just completed
^ That would be the best way to go I believe.

It is the best way to program the heads but if you are going to use the wireless kit after programming you still need to confirm you have the right one.
