Default urethane good enough to mount heads?

I am mounting them on audi in the grill.. wow what a pain in the ass to do.. been using hot glue to temp hold them . then grill back onto hood to test with level.. must have done that 300 times. the brackets it came with and zip ties are useless to mount.. so now that i have them looked with hot glue correct i was going to urethane them in.. only other way to use brackets is if i get the welder out and start fabing up mount which then becomes a pain to check with level and re adjust

Never used urethane because it is too messy .

First I tape the head with electrical tape ,
then use silicone with a bit of hot glue for a
quick fix . It is a good practice to verify
the set up every month .

I had to fabricate a set of custom brackets out of aluminum. I just dont trust tape or glue. If you build your own you can make them adjustable and your heads wont go anywhere once you get them level. I even go thru car washes and they stay perfect.
You will of course have to take the front of your car aart to do it but it wiould be worht it in the end.

Use 3m body molding tape, less messy and easy to use just make sure the mounting surface is clean.

If it does not hold try Clear Automotive RTV silicone I use Permatex brand its heat resistant it won’t let go when it gets hot and water proof. Its held just about every thing I tried it on even on the inside of the windshield it has not let go even in the summer no matter how hot the inside of the car got.
