Impreza blinder placement

I have a 2007 Impreza and I'm having a tough time figuring out where to place the heads on my car.

The front bumper is so concaved that it's difficult to actually place a straight edge across it and have the heads line up parallel.

The heads would have to be sticking further out from the bumper than I would like and would be an obvious eyesore/theft issue.

I've attached a pic where I would like to place them, either up behind the grills or below the bumper.

If I put them up behind the grills, I will obviously modify the grills so the heads sit flush with the grill and there isn't anything obstructing them.

So in the grill it goes. Already yanked out those pieces to start cutting. Snoopy's fingers must have been tired from replying I only got the picture response
