M27 and Infiniti QX 56

From reading other threads, I understand the USA M27 & 47 are supposed to filter out Infiniti laser cruise and there has been no software update to USA versions. My M27 alerts every time I meet a QX 56 head on. I have not noticed it on any other model. What could be the root cause of this?

There has been 1 USA update to filter out the Infinitis. What software version are you running? Version 2.6 is the most current US software.

No one else seems to have a problem with infinities. Either you have not updated or there is a problem with CPU or heads. Regardless we will figure it out and get the problem fixed by finding the answer or replacing the defective part.

You have to pull the CPU out and hook it up to your computer with a USB cable. The Blinder website has the software interface you can download to check what version you have and update if needed.

the update was released 9/29/2009, so if your blinders were bought BEFORE that, you have the old version, if they were bought AFTER that date, it should be updated, but check just incase.

Depends on how fast the units in stock and in the pipeline were used up. There may still be dealers out there that have units with the old software in them. I would not trust the purchase date too much.
