    Default Blinder M47?

    Hello, I am new to this forum. I have an '07 Ford F-350 and '08 Toyota FJ Crusier that I am looking to get laser countermeasures for. I am already running a V1 in each vehicle however it looks like our LEO's have stepped up from Ka to Laser.

    I was looking at a Blinder M47 for the F350, but this would only protect the front. Any suggestions for the rear? What about the FJ? Any suggestions for optimal protection?

    Attach some pictures and we can give you some ideas. Also check the show off your install section and you will probably find some ideas.

    Thanks guys. Looks like the Blinder M47 works well on the F350/Excursion grill. I think I will go that route. Any suggestions for the rear?

    The FJ looks like this, except silver. Same bumper though.

    Can't post pics yet. w w w.tankota.net/FJ/thefj.j p g <--take out the spaces in www and jpg.

    Any suggestions for it?

    due to the way your bumper is angled I would think an M27 would actually be enough to protect it, any other opinions?

    I would put it in the red areas.

    I would start there, but that's still a lot of area to protect. It does help that half of that area is flat black, but don't be surprised if you have to add veil or more heads.

    I will love to see the test results of an M27 setup like that. That will give a huge indication of the capabilities of the new 7 series.
