Blinder Testing
Hope someone has some insight on this and I hope my Blinders aren't messed up.
I have M45 J15's on the front of my car. When I first got them I only installed 2 on the bottom of the grill. During "that" first 30 second test phase I would shoot them with a tester and look at the heads through my cell phone camera to see if they light up. No prob. they light up get an alert, stop shooting it, they turn off and a couple of seconds later the audible would also stop.
Now I have installed all 4 J15's up front. When I test them now all 4 fire at the same time, and after shooting them a couple of times they don't stop. They also go dim after the first few shots. But if I don't shoot them with anything and just turn them on they go through the 30 second test phase and give me a 2nd beep to confirm everything is ok.
Has anyone else experienced this? Are my Blinders done for?
I have 2 J11's on the back, and they are just fine. Light up when you shoot them and turn off afterwards.
Also, I've done a search on this but couldn't find a definite answer. For optimum performance, should the wire on the back of the heads be inward or outward? I'm trying to find out if my heads are "upside down."

Re: Blinder Testing
Try unplugging one head at a time and test. See if you can isolate the problem to only one head.

Re: Blinder Testing
Seems like it might just be the control module then. I would ask BG, but until then maybe only use 3 heads to be on the safe side.
