    Question Blinders and aggressive braking

I was just thinking about this last night:

The Blinder heads have to be perfectly level, correct?

What happens when I have a car with a soft suspension that "nose dives" when I hit the brakes?

Will I lose range, or will the Blinders not work at all?

    ______
I understand, that it's not a good idea to brake too hard when the Blinders go off, as to not draw too much attention. At the same time, sometimes hard braking becomes an instinct.
Also I'm not a fan of JTG'ing a LEO shooting laser. 1) it's not nice 2) it's bad form 3) it might ruin it for the rest of us.

If the LEO was shooting from WAY above and your nose hit the pavement then it might be a problem.

Well not quite hitting the pavement, but I'd say (by feel, no clue how I could measure it) my car will nose-dive about 2-3 inches on average.

So it is an issue on overpasses then?
How about when he's on the road. (same height)

I don't think it's even remotely an issue.

Maybe we should all mount our heads pointing slightly up to anticipate braking.

How about an M47. One mounted looking up, one down, one left & one right. You will have every encounter covered except for a strait on & level hit.

On a similar note...will the LEO notice when you brake hard due to your M47 alert? I realize this depends upon the distance he shoots you at, but many of the videos I've seen online indicate a pretty good view of the car, so it seems feesable he could see a dip and realize what's going on...would that piss him off even though you turn off your jammer quickly?

Why could it not have been that I spotted him or my radar detector went off.

It's best if possible to gradually slow, but sometimes it just can't be helped!!

If the cop can see you, then you can see him. And everyone hits the brakes when they see a cop, so it's a non-issue.
