Error code?

I recently puchased and installed a Blinder M20 on my '06 Mustang, and it seems to be doing something odd. After it turns on it gives me an alert for the self test, then the LED switches to green... about 15 seconds later I get another alert, then it switches back to green. It does this every time. Is this some sort of error code?

I'm pretty sure that the Blinder is set up to check connectivity between the control unit and the jamming heads. If there is a bad connection or faulty wiring it should do something. (I'm not sure exactly what.) I would double-check your connections, including power and ground.

The latest Blinder revision goes into a test mode for 30 seconds after being powered up. After the test mode cancels, it beeps again.

During the test mode, it reduces its filtering so you can test it using a remote or laser tester. After 30 seconds, the filtering is activated so it doesn't false.

I obtained a new M-20 direct from Leon after contacting him regarding the "Stealth Bug" on my old units. I thought I would have latest revision but they dont seem to have this really useful feature...

Mine does not have this test mode,and will not audio alert to JTW's tester.

This new feature has been added to see your response.
The old Blinder will not respond the that tester because of the filter, the new ones will for the first 30 seconds.
Demark is always looking to make your laser defense better and will continue for years to come.
