you're right, they look like they're crooked, the outside looks lower than the inside of the heads haha.
yup, wires inward, and the optical illusion really bugged me while i was installing

the reason for the optical illusion is the angle of the honeycomb as it goes toward the outside of the grille.

Here in Washington State there is a guy I'm talking with that may be coming here around December and were toying with the idea of doing a testing session. But December in WA is not always conducive to outdoors testing. If anything comes to fruition, I'll post up in the Testing meets forum.
