Default GOL Test Results/Blinder Question... Please Read/Respond!

Okay, I just checked out the GOL Tests. I read the results on their August '05 test. There's two Blinder products tested. Towards the top of the page, the "Blinder M40 - Retail." At the bottom of the page the "Blinder M40 - MFR Prototype." This MFR Prototype kicked major ass in almost all the gun catagories, but I'm not sure if it has been released yet. I mean, there's a Blinder M40 on Blinder's website, but I don't know if that's the retail version tested or the new version. Could someone help a newbie to laser jammers out and tell me when the Blinder MFR Prototype is coming out?? Thanks!

If anyone wants the link to the page I'm talking about, here it is: http://www.guysoflidar.com/shootout05/lasertests.html

Thanks for any help you guys can give! This site is very informative.

You gotta understand, we put the blinder against a TOUGH challenge. big white SUV, huge headlights, no VEIL. When we test the blinder again come april, we will also mount the blinders in a better position.

Blinders on my cavallier, I have an m20. coupled with VEIL, I get punch through on the VERY corner of my headlight, more of aiming at the sideview mirror (cop wouldnt know this) at 330 feet, at night time. during the day this number should drop in half.

blinder is a great jammer for the right vehicles...

Actually, I believe it was a metallic silver SUV with a lot of chrome - even tougher to hide.

When we test jammers, we do not add veil with them. We've done a few tests before running with them both, but mainly, we do not add veil if we are testing a jammer.

I hope you also take my previous advise to test based on DOLLAR AMOUNT SPENT rather than number of heads.

2 Blinder heads (M20) is NOT equal in cost to 2 AL6/Laserdefender heads

In the above, I think 3 Blinder heads (M30) would be closer to equal in cost to 1 AL6 or defender2 jammer head?

And if thats the case, I think the Blinder may actually do better with 3 heads verus 1 single head of the other brands perhaps?
