I washed my baby in anticipation of hardwiring a V1, applying VEIL and installing the Blinder M-20 Extreme.
I photoshopped the green dots to show my placement.
The VEIL really smoked my headlights & foglights (which I removed from the car for application).
I integrated the on/off switch & the light in to the little storage spot on the left of the steering wheel where I keep my garage door clicker.
You can see the shine of the Blinder head bracket screws at the bottom left of this picture.
I hard wired the V1 behind my onstar/temp/compass/autodimming mirror. The cable is hidden along the headliner and down the passenger side A pillar.
When I remove the V1 or just don't want to advertise that I have a RD I can tuck the cord against the back of the mirror using the velcro. You can't see the cable from inside the car or from outside due to the tint.
Here's the last pic. I attached white labels to the very bottom lip of the Blinder heads to illustrate their location. The heads are exactly 12 inches from the corners of the headlights and 18 inches from the center of the fog lights. It looks a lot further in this pic but the front of my car isn't that large. (Ignore the frosted hood, pic taken at 1am.)
I originally wanted to mount the heads further out towards the lights but the curve of the bodywork didn't allow that without making them less discreet.
I still have to pop in the plugs to cover the front level/screw holes and apply black touch up paint to the bracket screws so they don't shine.
The heads are completely level and I'm sure that they are pointing perfectly straight ahead to within a few degrees.
They are also flush with the bodywork at the inside of the brackets and slightly protruding at the outside of the brackets due to the curvature of the body work.
I look forward to hearing everyone's comments.
