    Default What should I expect?

Have the veil and the Blinder M-40 all up front w/o a front plate on my '05 Honda Odyssey. It has been snowy here and not real good for testing. Just got a little testing done tonight with my Osprey Laser Ranger Finder and Speed Measurer. Speeds were under 25MPH. From 1200' to about 300' nothing. At closer range ccould sometimes get a reading. At less than 100' could get a reading. Still have to get some exact leveling done on the Blinders, hard to do in Arkansas, not many level places. Should I put another coat of veil on the lights to help. Would love it to JTG. It still has chrome on the front.

depending on how dark the headlights are, i would consider another coat of Veil. i would also consider doing something with the chrome.

no front plate, and i'm not sure if a lasershield would matter or not without a plate?

at this point you are setup pretty good, but you need to make some choices.

you will need to choose between possible close range PT's and doing more to the front.
As in Veil on the chrome, maybe headlight covers (clear) with Veil on them also. maybe a black bra.

Some or all of this may be more than you want to do, so it's up to what you want. by 300' you're on top of him and already slowed, and turning off the jammer anyway.

Fine tune the leveling and you may be more than good enough.

Yeah that was with make transponders being caked on with salt and no headlight covers. You were not even aiming at teh usual targeting spots! Where you not aiming at my hood?

I can see the conversation now…

Happy(sad): “what do you mean you clocked me? I painted my whole car with 5 coats of Veil and have a lot of jammers on it.”

Officer: “ I aimed at your hood.”

Sad (crying like a little school girl): “but you can’t do that, it’s not fair..”

Officer: “ of course I can, here’s your ticket. Don’t forget to tell the judge all about it.”

    Sad: “ I wish I was as stealth as RacerX, then I wouldn’t have this problem……” sigh…..

Well here are my results on my 2005 Odyssey Van. As stated before with all four Blinders M-40 up front and no front plate with Veil on Headlights and Fog lights. No chrome Veiled. No reading down to 300'. At less than 300' sometimes could and sometimes couldn't. At less than 100' always got a reading.
Today with the changes of two coats of Veil on all lights and Veil on all my front chrome. I JTG'ed 100% of the time. Very excited!!! Now the bad news, the wife HATES the Chrome Veiled, she wants it off. I wish I had tested just the two coats of Veil w/o any on the chrome Veiled first to see the difference. So I will stall as long as possible. Any ideas, and no I asked her about just painting the chrome black and she said no and it is her van. She said I can do whatever on my Subaru Sti or my truck. Maybe the Veil guy can make us a chrome Veil, lol. Thanks for all the help on my van. The Subie and maybe my truck are next for Laser Counter measures but I will wait till after the GOL test in April.
