Blinder 905 ext/int switch and Mute function

I just got a Blinder 905 compact laser detector and I'm wondering what the ext/int switch beside the power plugin does? I can't find any documentation for the ext/int switch on the Blinder website.
Anyone know what this switch does? Also does the mute function (wire) turn into a ground when the laser detector is activated? Thanks

the switch you are talking about is to let you choose if you want to use the external 4 position switch, or just use the cpu to contol the power of the unit. the mute wire just turns into a ground when the system is activated.

Could a person still connect the mute wire to my radio's bluetooth mute, and still be able to mute the radio when jamming radar, or going off?... the decibels on the 905 HP are not to loud, especially when listening to the radio.

Contact a radio shop to get that feature to work.
