Before the widespread use of the Internet, research was largely conducted in libaries, using (gasp) card catalogs, encyclopedias, newspapers, magazines, and microfiche. Time consuming, yes, but ultimately fulfilling, even if the duration was short lasting.
Now, research can be conducted largely by typing in a few keystrokes, and using the power of the Internet to search, catalog, and present information... |
