No clue. Try removing the rim and checking the inner side for any trademarks or names... usually they will be in there somewhere.
That doesn't look like a bad chunk out of it, I'd probably leave it as is. Though you can get the rim repaired professionally if you so desire. I definately wouldn't replace a rim just for that (unless say... someone was buying one for me)
i take it that its your golf 2.5L. if you go back to the dealer then they should be able to help you...
they kind of look like Rota's.
Ya, two days old and rim already trashed. They are without a doubt after market put on by the dealer. I'll see if I can get the name out of them.Originally Posted by laserblaster
I don't think my wife will ever park it next to a curb again. She was pretty freaked out.
There is what looks like an E or maybe a 3 in the center.Originally Posted by thestaton

try not to worry about it, things happen and its too easy to curb the wheels when trying to park.
obviously its the most common cause of wheel rim damage!
After hearing the feedback from the people on this forum and also friends, I've opted to not replace the rim. I figure it will only get trashed in time no matter what. Might as well save some money.
If it's only been a day or two, call the dealer and complain, "Hey you sold me a car with scratched rims!"Originally Posted by (in)Sanity
