Just tonight I went with a friend ... he has just started riding this season with his dad, so I brought him to a local set of twisties, just to ride and get some pictures.
Here is a decent picture of me (the sun was going down, and you can't turn off the headlights so pictures are hard). This was a run warming up my tires, just coming out of the turn-standing back up-. (Also pictures are hard to take of someone going by on a bike).
This is 6 runs later (my friend kept timing the picture wrong so I either already went by or I was just coming into the turn where you cant see me)... I am down decent (except I rubbed through the sole on the bottom of my shoe during the 6 runs he didnt get me, so I couldnt lean all the way down because I didnt want my toe to catch. (New Riding boots are on the way-tommarow-, and the steel-toes where home). So this is me leaned 3/4's of the way down.
Again 3/4's of the way down so my toes didnt drag (almost there as you can see), just a different picture (different part of the turn)... there are some better turns, but this is the last turn at the bottom of the twisties, since there are no gaurd-rails and the road opens-up, its the safest place to take pictures from.
My friend (riding his 250 Ninja), great mechanics (staying towards the white line and away from the yellow (oncoming traffic), looking through the turn.
As you can see Protective Gear!
It is hard to time pictures so I dont blame him for missing the best runs before my shoe wore down.
Headlights were tough to take pictures through.
You really dont want to be near the yellow lines on that corner.
