Default Should I Try To Trade for This?

I may try to trade my 220HP 6S on this 274HP MS6. I THINK I can work it so the payments are about the same, but I am NOT wild about the paint job...what does everyone think?

It is a 2006, but it's new. Sat in a local mall for almost a year. Has custom wheels, and I think I can talk them down $1000 or $1500....but I am $6000 upside down on my car....

That's like what I just did going from a Legacy RS30 to the GT. You'll love it

Make sure you and any significant others can cope with the ride

Is that painted hood / CF or what lol ? MS6 should be a fun daily driver. MS6 wheels are sh-it looking, so custom wheels are the way to go.

^ *THAT*, my brudda, is what I'm not a fan of.

That's a hefty chunk of money.....

As for the MS6, what can I say? As a kissing-cousin of what my car is, and as it's direct competitor, I love it.

I am unfortunately not well-versed enough on it, in terms of its technical points, to be of much use to you in giving advice....

My sole concern is with its previously noted problem of extreme sensitivity of heat-soak, which I believe some tuners/aftermarket makers have mentioned that they can "tune out" via ECU reflashing/programming.

^ That simply doesn't make any sense whatsoever. It does not follow logic that there could be *any* solution short of mechanical re-plumbing. And I'm not saying this because I don't own the MS6...I would say this of the LGT, too.

When the TMIC gets hot, the charge-air gets hot, and there's only one solution - for the ECU to pull timing to compensate. And that, of course, loses power. There's no way to compensate for this via reprogramming. The hardware simply has to go.

I've heard it's too bulky. It has enough power for the straight line, but since you drove a 6 anyways, you should be used to it. If you like your 6, no reason the ms6 will treat you any different. I've heard nothing but good about the "Speed" trim as far as reliability and overall technical work.

The payments may be the same, but what are they giving u for ur ride, compared to what it is worth to you, also, how much longer will you ahve to make payments compared to paying off ur current ride?

The entire top half of the car is painted metallic black. Not my first choice, but it doesn't look too bad.

Yeah, turns out it's just a LITTLE too much upside-down-ness right now. My payments would go up, and I need them to remain the same for now. So I have to wait another 4 months or so...

That's the "loss of power" at high RPM issue, right? I've read about that a little, and it doesn't concern me too much, if that's what you're talking about.

Turns out, though, that I'll have to wait a while longer, so I can pay some more on my car.

It is new, not used. The customization was done by the dealer for display purposes.

I would in a heart beat. But I still love your car you have at the moment.
