This should be fun: 05 Corvette C6 "Starla" delivered December 07, 2005. Problems up to 23,000 miles.
2/22/06 Traction control system failed. Dealer service covered under warranty
4/11/06 Driver seatbelt failed. Dealer service covered under warranty. Part took 3 weeks to arrive
8/20/06 Clutch master cylinder failed. Factory vendor delivered units with defective seals installed. Dealer service covered under warranty.
10/10/06 Battery died while car was at airport for a week. Dealer explanation. Customer installed radar detector external speaker was wired on the horn circuit which is always live. Suggested installing it on a passive circuit.
11/01/06 Battery died after two weeks at the airport. Dealer explination "Vehicle's Intelligent system control will drain battery on average of 21 days of sitting" Recommened solution. Don't leave the Corvette sitting for over two weeks.
12/31/06 Headlights refused to turn on. Dealer explination, "auto headlights sensor defective". replaced under warranty.
1/26/06 Auto Traction Control system failed. Dealer service covered under warranty in spite of dealer insistance damage to system probably occured because of track conditions to which I replied "So are you telling me I should turn the traction control system off at the track?"
2/12/06 GTO Kyle owner of his flawlessly performing daily driver gives some advice and says: "STOP STORING YOUR VETTE FOR THE WEEKENDS, DRIVE IT AND IT WILL RUN FLAWLESSLY"
2/14/06 Decided to drive "Starla" daily as a commuter.
3/11/06 Right turn signal working "intermitantly" Is at dealer awaiting diagnosis.
