SUV sales often boil down to one thing, short mans disease
They all want to feel big and powerful in their big vehicle. Some people are just scared little rabbits hiding inside these things. They don't know how to drive so they figure the safest thing (for them) is to drive an Expedition.
I respect the contractor that hauls tools in his SUV or pickup truck. The construction worker, the person that tows a camper or 5th wheel. The people that actually use SUV and trucks for a purpose are just fine in my book. The people that just drive them around out of fear are completely lame. They are the reason why the gas prices are so high right now, you have to figure one SUV or large size truck can more then fuel one normal sized car. So in a sense for every SUV or truck on the road just add another car or so. Now do the math. We don't have enough fuel because we are using too much. This is a fact, not speculation.
So to all you SUV drivers...thanks a lot.....I can only hope you get T bonded by an 18 wheeler
Actually I found it funny, a mid sized truck rear ended a larger truck with a metal rail on the back end cutting the cab and the head of the driver clean off. Ha ha ha ha. The little car would have just got a cracked up front end.
For the record we own a truck, Nissan Frontier Crew cab. It's small sits up high and gets pretty good gas mileage.
This is a really really bad subject for me, pisses me off even.
