I guess because I kind of live in the stix down here my local NTB and Goodyear Tire store was unable to locate four new run flat tires for my C6 after searching my top choices for four weeks. If you have a C6 you may want to order your tires before you actually need to change them like I did.
BF Goodrich: backorder
Goodyear: F1 Fronts on backorder
So I settled for the Firestone Wide Oval. Not a fan of FS but they are run flats and they look bada$$. Softer ride too. Turn in is soggy compared to the F1s but there's also less tail snap if you pop off the throttle in hiG situations. Also, during our downpour Wednesday they were nails in the rain. Something I'm in need of with just RWD and 400 lb/ft of torque.
BTW: Hot rodders. Apparently doing burnouts slightly twisted my rear wheels. So they could not be properly aligned. I was told this effect happens when doing sustained burnouts with large thinly spoked wheels. My BS detector was flashing but I decided to do more research before I attack. Feel free to chime in with opinions on this warranty voiding scenario. My wheels are GM stock with chrome plating.
