It's not a 94-95' 5.0 is it?
yep 1994 5.0
Should be pretty easy to figure out the clutch, with a high-torque engine like that in a fairly light car with fairly short gears it's going to be hard to make the car stall, it should launch itself
Don't put SVT badges on it, that would be like the TypeR 1985 Honda Civics you see out there
That's been up on Craigslist for a while now. You should be able to talk him down a bit. I was kind of looking at that car, but I could not justify spending ~$7K on a 13 year old car with 140,000 miles. I emailed him a month or two ago and asked him about the "full exhaust system" chip and CAI, he had no idea what kind of exhaust it was
Hope it all works out for you.
Oh, the 94-95's aren't quite as peppy as the 96-98's 240hp vs. 300 +! Good solid engine though.Originally Posted by xrs9430
great choice man. yeah the 5.0 is a great solid engine. Throw a cam in it, and Off-road H pipe and Flowmaster, pure sex. once i get some more money saved up, i may buy a 94 coby and a project car. 116x miles, needs door replaced due to accident, for 3k!
youll get the driving down soon enough, once you figure it out, its nothing. and remember, now with a manual, you can actually say your driving your car, not just moving it as with an automatic.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh Manual Carz...
Nothin Quite Like Em...
I want to get a 95 Mustang because my Saab just died lol.
