it's kinda like buying a 3-series, just so you can "say" you drive a bmwOriginally Posted by jerry540i

Um, The 3 series is the #1 seller @ BMW. Over 70% of BMWs sold worldwide are 3 series. So it really is THE Quintessential BMW. BMW was big into small sporty cars long before they made luxury boats like the 7 series.Originally Posted by xrs9430
Unlike Cadillac who has been producing Octogenarian carrying aircraft carriers for years.
I want to buy a Cadillac Catera down the road, they're the best sleepers and no one knows it. First off, they're actually rear wheel drive, and the opel set up is actually the same as a holden set up, which in turn means you can basically stick the rear end from a Pontiac GTO into one of those things. There is also enough room to drop in a LS1 5.7 motor. Would be killer to do this. I'm still split between doing thing or buying a 2000 Lexus GS and putting Supra turbos on it with a Supra transmission.
That isn't a Caddillac that he was talking about.Originally Posted by hockey005

I think that V series Cadillac CTX is pretty bada$$.
BTW: The new BMW 190 coming to the states next year is supposed be pretty nice.
