trade in or not?

What do you guys think?

I found a soldier in my 'hood selling his '02 Lancer for $2500(I could probably even talk it down more, he's selling everything he owns before he ships out) Think I should buy it and sell the '04 bonneville or too much of a risk? I figure I should be able to get about $14k for the bonneville if I leave the jammer, GPS, and backup camera installed

if its an evo then its already sold.... to me. Seriously if its an evo it has been in like 10 wrecks and the guy could still get more then 2k for it.

If not, you could always get it, and resell it. You could probably get a little more. Just Carfax it to make sure it's "ok."

It would prolly be better to remove your stuff from the bonneville than leave it on when selling, since they really won't add value to the average buyer.

But you gotta see the lancer first. $2500 sounds like a good deal even for a base model. But I'm not an expert on that
