A few mouths ago I started noticing a roaring Tire noise
coming from my rear tires on my 2004 Jetta.
It has this woom woom woom sound that seems
to get louder and shake the car a little as I slow
down. Also, it has this strange Cabin air pressure
thing going on as it's happening, it's like your ears want
to pop of something.
I took it to the dealership and they stated that
my Tires were cupping and this tends to happen
on 17 inch wheels. I have the factory 17 inch goodyear
tires that came factory on the car and they have a at
least 10,000 more miles left on them... I rotate them
every 5,000 miles so they shouldn't have a wearing
issue. Volkswagen wants to treat this as normal but
I don't know of any other car that does this.
Has anyone experienced this on their Volkswagen?
