I knew that.
I once flew about 100 feet while doing 125 mph. There's this road that just goes up, down, up, down, up, down, and I was doing about 125. I came to a hill that dropped off quite steeply and I left the ground. We got out and measured approximately 100 feet from the top of the hill to where some concrete was freshly dug out of the road by my chassis.
The scary thing: 20 or 30 feet further down the road was an even bigger divot. It had been there for quite some time as it was pretty weathered.
I've also hit 130 mph as indicated by my speedo several times.
don't the newer ones have a limiter of 115mph though?
From what I heard even my model year, 1995, some were speed limited. The DX and LX trims were limited, the exact number escapes me, but the EX, which I have, were not speed limited.
My 2005 Accord has a limiter, but its at 130.
We also have that 214mph motorcycle ticket too.Originally Posted by wanderingmind
I had my friends 93 accord up to 119 where the limiter is, I was under the impression that all cars had them, till I hit 130 in my integra. Of course this was all on a race track.
There aint a track long enough in this country to allow that!!!Originally Posted by DogGod
We got a 3-mile runway up here at Westover. You may have better luck on that.
130 in my teg was on a track, track 169N. :wink:Originally Posted by PMoth
Hell almost every car these days can do 125.
