Automotive sites don't seem to ever mention it, but Torquenstein, AKA Jerry Reynolds, is alleged to have been one of the biggest internet spammers of the 1990s. He gained further infamy by filing lawsuits against a couple of the anti-spam fighters who had called him out on it. The guy that was with him in the Viper when it wrecked was his network admin at the time.

I just bought the 3000 miles dvd, its pretty good.
On a side note, I found out that the 2008 Gumball is going to cost $120k, I dont think Ill be able to swing that anytime soon.

ya the entry fee for a car. driver and co-driver is 60,000 english pounds, roughly $120,000. You can have sponsors, but only two, it seems that they are teasing people who dont have tons of money to throw around...
