My girlfriend has one. It's pretty nice. Lots and lots of options though ... if you get everything you want on it the car can get pretty pricey.

Simple coincidence, couple of days ago got a flyer thru my apartment mail slot telling me that if I own an RD I can win a Lexus...

... well, other kind of rd
I have an IS350.
Things I like.
GPS, Stereo (Mark Levinson upgrade)
Things I don't like.
1. Transmission-hunts for gears at at slow speeds. Basically the computer in this 6 speed sucks. It's too quick to upshift, and then decides it needs to be 3 gears lower, so your revs shoot up until it decides to upshift again.
2. Still can't find a comfortable seating position.
3. Don't buy this car if you live in a snowy climate. I bought 4 good winter tires (you'll need to spend another $500 on tire pressure sensors for your winter rims as well) so tractions not the problem. Once again its the f'in computers in the car. The car's traction control and vehicle stability control are too quick at shutting down any wheel spin. Once the car senses that the rear wheels are spinning (try getting out of your driveway when there's a foot of snow in it..) it retards the car's timing bringing the RPM's down to idle speed. The result is no momentum at all. I've had people honk at me at intersections because they think I'm just sitting there when in fact its the f'in car that won't let me go anywhere. The only solution is to disable the traction control and let the rear wheels spin like the dukes of hazzard with the ass of the car sliding all over the place.
4. Problems I've had. Camshaft gear needed replacing. (known issue) Rear view mirror replaced (known issue) Dash squeaks (known issue) Excessive brake dust from cheap brake pads (known issue) Both power side view mirrors work intermittently
I came out of a BMW 540 and a BMW 328 before that. First and last dressed-up Toyota I'll ever own.
Sell the 350 and get a Bimmer. You'll never look back.

3. Side vi
Why not just switch to the 350z with the backseat (G35/G37)?

About the GPS, is it turn-by-turn navigation? if so, is it Garmin, TT, Magellan or something else?
And is the car FWD or RWD?, obviously it's not a 4x4...
Regardless, it's a freaking sexy 4-wheeler, I bet oversized wheels (but not the ones everybody is using) would change its shape completely...

It's RWD. My mom has a red one.
Surely you can fix that little issue by getting the manual :POriginally Posted by jerry540i
It's turn by turn navigation. I don't know who makes it for Lexus though. Nice 8" screen.Originally Posted by RW'07
RWD. It's the only way to put 300+hp to the ground!!
Has factory 18" wheels that look really nice. I don't want anything bigger--you're getting into ricer terroritory then. Did downsize to 17" for the winter.

The factory 18s are okay. Not great, not ugly. Relatively easy to wash, though.
The turn-by-turn navigation works decently well, but not great. I actually happened to be riding in the car with my Garmin once and the Lexus turn-by-turn got confused so I fired up mine and got some proper directions
