    Default Modding Corolla?

    Hi there,

I bought a new Corolla Altis 1.8 M/T,( Similar to US version of XRS) 1 ZZFE,.........installed ND Iridium spark plugs & Intricate performance ECU chip Type 3........runs great..........0-100 kmph in 7 sec.......top speed till now is 180 kmp/hr at 6K rpm..........what other mods could i perform.........like CAI ........K & N power air intake??

Should I buy a Supercharger or a Turbocharger?

What mods should I get for it ........performance enhacing..........I wanna touch its max speed of 220km/hr?

    Hoping to hear from you,

    Regards!

Btw has done only 11K kms.

Which stores in the US would carry such parts?

Can cruise control be installed in a Corolla?

You're in America, speak imperial. The only one I understand is 0-100 = 0-62, right?

College park, Orlando? So you're living in one of the school apartments?

From what I hear, a turbo is better, a supercharger is easier if there are kits available.

Turbo is not better, its all about how much power you want, and where you want that power.

I'm gonna be honest with you, if you see a car as anything more than a necessary evil, get rid of the Corolla.

If you're talking about modding, you REALLY don't want that car.

normally a supercharger (centrifugal in your case) is better for a daily driver since the torque is much more linear. However S/C use HP to make HP and normally they are much easier to install since there is no drilling of the oil pan or any of that. However if you want performance your base car is not exactly the best route.

x2, complete waste of money. After all the money spent on turboing it, you might see 14's in the 1/4.
