^ Well, aside from the Classic Detroit Musclecars, her other favorites are (in-order):
- Police cruisers
- Porsches (with the exception of the Cayenne)
- 2008 STI
Her love of the first probably stems from "spotting."
Her love of Porsches started off with the movie Cars - and it's funny because when she sees modified current-generation VW Bugs on the roads, she'll point to it and say "That's a Porsche!" She then gets all indignant and tries to figure out what went wrong, when I explain the real-deal to her.
And I have *no clue* why she likes the new STI. For some reason, it was the ONLY car, out of the entire Cleveland Car Show, that she KISSED. :?:

Seriously, though, that kiss with the '08 STI was just crazy....
I've been a big DSMer. Ever since my first "real" car (when I was 17 - 1992 - my parents spoiled me with a brand-new Mitsubishi Eclipse, 2.0L DOHC [couldn't afford the insurance on the turbo model that my dad actually wanted to get me]), I've had a DSM, and I've had DSMs until I recently made the jump to Subaru.
At the car show, I spent nearly a half-hour showing Anna the EVO X. The representative lady actually came around to us and chatted for a while, remembering how her sons, at Anna's age, were into cars and racing, too (she eventually lost one of them to a racing incident). A fellow enthusiast also came up to us, remembering how he took his daughter out to the track for the first time, right around Anna's age - and admiring how I was showing her the various parts of the car.
I'm surprised that Anna didn't kiss the EVO.
And heck, she liked the Porsches, but never kissed any of them.
Go figure. The girl's got her own mind about what she likes.
