2009 Mercedes SL63 or SL65
I am having trouble deciding between the 2009 SL63 or the SL65 AMG. The 65 boosts 600+ hp, whereas the 63 is pushing 510 hp. The 63 also has the new MCT Transmission, suspension settings, race start function, and 4 shift modes. Its also a V12 vs a V8, but I feel like I'll get the most out of the 63.
What are your thoughts?

Sounds like you're leaning towards the SL63. Go with your gut, pick the one you think you'll get the most enjoyment out of.
P.S. - I'm sure 510 hp is more than enough to get your rocks off!

You'll get better resale out of V12 but of course the maintenance is a bit more complicated. I like the suspension settings in the 63 personally.Originally Posted by tiger17

Both fail. New SL is just ugly...
But id say 65.
I haven't liked the direction of Mercedes designs in the past few years either. They've abandoned the stately yet boxy look of past models with rounded edges and mismatching curves and its not getting any better.

I dont know how anyone could think this looks good.
