I've noticed that for some people Premium Gas means 91 octane and for others it means 93. Does anyone know what this is? For me, in the Chicago/Milwaukee area, our premium gas is 93 octane.

On my way to OH I saw 94 octane at Sunoco in PA.
Thought ours was 92, could be wrong though?
93 here in GA but right down the street is the only station i know of around here that also has 100 octane racing gas
I see this too in PA at Sunoco, but it is pretty expensive. I got some one time and did not notice a difference even with some very spirited driving. I usually always get 93 unless I am almost out of gas when I reach a station that has 91.Originally Posted by stealthJamal

Sunoco used to offer 94 in our region...don't know if that's still the case today.

I think so too.
Will an Admin please add "92" to the list of octanes? Thanks
I didn't realize it was so dispursed. I always thought it was 93 everywhere.
