Anyone know what type of mpg a car like this would get at 80mph? I'm thinking I might wait and get a hybrid diesel vehicle or hope that hydrogen cars get picked up so I can buy one of those.

get the diesel jetta 45mpg i think...
I can't give you exact numbers but it'll be doing better than most gasoline vehicles.
So what's up with "blue" and diesel? "Bluetec", "BlueTDI", I don't get the reference.
give me a turbo diesel that gets 50mpg...Then I'll add an air intake, full exhaust, and ECU reflash

do those things help? i know nothing about cars.Originally Posted by crazyVOLVOrob
ECU reflash helps the most. Full exhaust helps too. Air intake helps zero, people love putting them on turbocharged cars but they do nothing. Intakes are for naturally aspirated cars.Originally Posted by bunny
I guess I'm not up to date on what a reflash is. Could you please "reflash" me. Is it basically just a reset of the ECU?
I have heard different about simple modifying to turbo carsOriginally Posted by JDS
Simple intake, and cat back exhaust has helped improved air flow. Improving the airflow is easy HP.
