Smile New vehicle added to family fleet (pics)

My dad wanted a truck to start to bring stuff to the dump to clean out the house and help me move at the end of the summer. Also I wanted to to learn to drive stick so a manual transmission was a must. We talked to our friend used car sailesman who frequently goes to auctions to purchase some of our past vehicles at a great price. This was our 4th vehicle from the auction (My Volvo, sister's Saab, dad's Jeep, and now the truck)

Originally we wanted small pickup but ended up with something larger
    '93 Toyota T100 4x4 SR5 package 129,000miles
    -3.0 V6 w/5-speed
    -31" BF Goodrich Offroad tires
-Pioneer CD player and upgraded speakers

As for driving stick I am pretty decent for a beginner with probably only an hour total of drive half of which was in a parking lot the second half was NJ GSP traffic

Looks like it's in great condition for a 15 year old truck with 129K miles. Maybe it was a soccer mom car instead of an actual hauler.

That "TOYOTA" lettering on the back looks goofy as hell, though

Yeah that was the first thing my dad said when we went to look at it. "Lets talk to Charlie(our body shop guy) and see how much it would cost to get that off!"

It looks like horrible up close but when I was following on the highway it wasn't too ugly. But honestly I don't look at the rear of my car when I drive so I could careless.

Should be able to unless the boat has "QUEEN ELIZABETH" written on the stern

Well it has a tralier hitch setup and the spec sheet says it's maximum towing capacity is 4500lbs which is plenty to tow my sailboat (Laser) and my dad's 17' Boston Whaler. We have yet to try moving the boat with it.

It does feel underpowered compared to Jeep(rated 190hp and 220 ftlbs) but I am not surprised as the engine is rated at 150hp and 180 ft lbs

I don't think I'll be putting any real counter measures on this except bring my back-up detector(BEL v995) along for the long rides. The thing is probably a bit underpowered for its size as it struggles above 70 .

This will be just a fun around town car to give my volvo a break. If I put a jammer on this it will probably be a Lidatek le30 dual as I have no use for it on my other car
