Over here every WED night they have the local drags on an international grade 1/4 mile strip, cost like 50 bucks for as many runs as you want....some street cars are running 6/7 secs and street legal

I will hinge a bet that your car will do 16/17 sec

Umm, I don't think you'll ever see a street legal car run 6-7 seconds. Maybe in the far future.

In fact, I'm sure of it.

First, no track will let you run without a full roll cage at that speed, and you're going to need RWD, drag slicks, and that means a wheelie bar, and that right there isn't street legal.

Best run I've seen in a street car was a Lingefelter Vette at 8.97. That was an excellent run, the guy usually runs between 9.20 and 9.50.

By the way, its only 17 bucks to run your car all night at New England Dragway on street night =)

Test and Tune Sessions are expensive, because cars that aren't street legal can show up, look for a street night.

I would like to see my car get a time slip, I bet the timers they use to clock you dont go beyond the 20+ seconds it would take my car...

Umm, last time I checked, my girlfriend's horse did the quarter in 21 seconds I think, I sure hope you wouldn't lose to her horse.

Though I've seen plenty of cars that run poorly enough to do just that.
