My SS is number 18 and a half...................I have the times slips to prove it........

With a good driver, or me with a lot of practice (Or on a diet......car is 3800 pounds with me in it ..........it is good for 13.00 ET I am sure.

I have a few plans for it in the next few weeks. Nothing drastic just some intake mods, thermostat and tuning with HP Tuners Software.
My brother and I are going to go to SLP customer appreciation day at English Town New Jersey - Race Way Park, October 8. He has a 2001 Cobra. Its ford against chevy, SS against Cobra, brother against brother, north against south...........opps I am gettting carried away..........LOL

    Have fun............

    Nice list!
I had a 71 GTO from 73 to 82 yellow/green metallic started with 34000 miles ENG 400 4BBL Hurst 4 speed Muncie rock crusher transmission 390 LTD slip axle dual Exhaust.
Won almost all of my races. Lots of tickets. Lots of fun.

Yea I do and my kids do also just from movies and such,
The GTO clubs will not even let in the new GTO's. The new GTO design is a joke, I know they have a lot of power but from the back of it looks like it did not even have dual exhaust.

Now thats funny...........Goats not allowing them into the herd.........
    bummerr.

The new ones should be faster indeed.

At last years SLP day at Englishtown, the best a 2004 GTO could muster was 13.9 ET...........pretty dismal ..........

Guess they are fairly heavy, not sure, It has no visual effect on me whatsover....... :x

    Have fun

Yeah but if you take off the GTO badges off an older one, looks just like a six cylinder Tempest or LeMans
