ok, so some of you know that im in the process of looking at motorcycles and cars to save gas mileage. im gonna cut to the chase. a while back i sold my pride and joy, a 1967 chevy stepside pickup, red and made into a hot rod..it had the zz4 350 crate engine from edelbrock. however last summer i had to put the for sale sign on her. had to pay for school and a new computer. but now i might be able to buy her back, because the people burnt up the engine in her. so if and when i get her back i do not mind at all about the engine. i look at it as an oppurtunity to put a better one in her. my question to ya'll is what is a good carburated driven engine out there with good mpg. i of course want it to be fast and will sacrifice a little mpg for hp..lol..for the record, she has the th-400 trans, and a 12 bolt posi rear end. and im not sure about the gears, but from the burnouts i did, im pretty around 4.10...so if anyone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated.
