Default Please help with parking sensors

Bought my daughter her first car. Very nice 03 Mustang V6. I would like to get some parking sensors for her as a precaution for a new driver. Not really excited about cutting holes in the bumper to install the sensors I have seen so far. Can anybody offer suggestions on a good parking sensor system and a good place to buy them?

    Oxymoron.

Why cut holes in the bumper? Just mount them in the openings that are already there.

Or, better yet, teach her to park like everybody else.

I like that idea. Unless of course he's talking about something along the lines of Laser Pro Park, to help with, um, parking.

Ah yes, that would be discussed here.

Or maybe I could teach her to park. What part of the country do you live in?

I said please help not provide smart ass comments.

Of course I am going to teach her to park. I bought her a VERY NICE car. 2003 Mustang with only 24k miles on it. I was planning on getting her something a lot cheaper in case she banged it up but I couldn't pass on the car.

I would really like to keep it a very nice car and would like to take advantage of every opportunity to keep it that way.

Saying teach her to park is like somebody telling you to drive the speed limit and forget the RD.

I DID help. I just sandwiched it between smartass comments. Which are sort of required

I dunno...I've never hit another car trying to park, or a wall or parking meter or anything else for that matter. I don't see why your daughter is incapable of parking safely. Contrary to popular belief, females are not genetically incapable of operating cars properly.

I use a radar detector because I CHOOSE to drive faster than the speed limit, not because I'm incapable of driving at the limit.

But hey, if you think she absolutely can't handle the car without a parking sensor...then like I said, mount it inside the openings that the bumper already has.

I choose to get parking sensors but not because I don't think she can drive or park. I was just hoping somebody could recommend some good units.

I already told her if she wants to date somebody that rides a crotch rocket they have to run up the canyon with me so I can school them, er I mean make sure they know how to ride.

It's the only way to select a proper park distance control system
