I thought the GXP was axed? They released the initial show cars then the reorganization started and last I heard they killed it.
I don't see it on the pontiac website.

right now with GM going bankrupt and the economy so bad, any GM will be a great buy..now rather or not you can get a g8 down to 20 grand i dont think that will happen..maybe 23 grand or so. which in the long is not that much..btw i LOVE the g8..its such a mean looking car, and has the oomph to back up the looks. if i were looking for a 4door, that would be the top of my list.

I checked Edmunds and 6-speed was listed as an option for the 09s. Maybe that's why "Scull20" said good luck finding one. I saw an 09 this morning but I don't know whether or not it was a 6-speed.

Here's an autoblog link, despite the widespread outcry to revive the G8 its seems as though its still a being sent out to pasture....freakin' GM you've already got everything here to produce the damn car, just re-badge the damn thing as a chevy...

Ugh. I would hate to see a few good models (Dodge Challenger, Chevy Corvette, Ford Super Duty) go, but honestly if all three corporations simply vaporized, it would probably be a good thing for the industry. The Big Three are collectively the Cobra Electronics of the auto industry.

since GM is now Government Motors and run but the "messiah" will be lucky to see any V8's from GM in the future. if the Camaro survives they will probably make it a hybrid and put the ecotech 4 banger in it with a solar panel on the roof. GM is finished as far as I am concerned.
