I think the 240Z and the 280Z (same car, different engine) looked better than the 280ZX. And the 280ZX looked better than the first 300ZX. But the second 300ZX looked better than all of them.

I've always been a fan of the Z cars and the performance on the new 370 are pretty impressive.

I like the styling of the Nismo Z, but haven't found one to look at in person yet. While I'm not a big fan of large spoilers, I think the larger one on the Nismo does a better job in balancing the bulbous rear. (at least in pictures.)

To the OP, which one did you drive? Auto or Stick? Although I can rev match on downshifts, I've also found that rev matching with drive by wire cars is just a tiny bit more difficult than with cable operated throttles. Did you get to try out that feature if it was a manual?

I only heel-and-toe on the racetrack. It doesn't really work so well at the leisurely pace of street driving. Nor is it really necessary. If you're chirping the tires on downshifts on the STREET, then you're driving a little crazy.

Most cars are drive by wire now anyway.

Nothing says you need to pay for the feature or ever use it. Going by the reviews the rev match has been perfect so far beating most people just doing the regular heel toe

Actually, the 370z is wider than the 350z. Here are the lengths & widths (respectively)

350Z: 169.8 L X 71.5 W
370Z: 167.2 L X 72.8 W

I'd take the infinity counterpart if we're talking about looks anyways...

if not the car serves it's purpose, a well built car that functions as designed for a fair price.
