SW Florida autocross invite

Old thread was closed so I copied and pasted. We have an event this weekend!

I just wanted to invite anyone who is in the SW Fla area to come out and run.
If you are new to autocross or can only make one of the two days, Saturday is the seat time day with two seperate tracks. A test and tune, and novice course run at the same time and everyone gets a lot of driving time if they want it. (Weather permiting)

Awesome. I have a buddy with a WRX STi who does this kind of racing on the weekends. He usually places really well even though he has no mods; they have two separate groups: one for people with mods and the other for people who don't. How do you normally do?

We use the SCCA classes. If he is stock, he can run STU and avoid the race tires in the "stock" classes.

Race tires make more of a difference than any other mod. (Not including the driver, of course.)


My brother runs an STi and those things are one of the faster cars to have. (AWD FTW)

Looks like I'll be joining you this weekend!!!! It's my first autocross so don't laugh too hard when my Honda spins out. I'm gonna set the record for most cones hit.
