Default Some Vibration at Idle, car skips a beat if you will.

So about 2 weeks ago, I had my #3 cylinder coil replaced. It was because it was miss-firing and causing the car to vibrate really bad. But also from what I notice is the MAF-mass flow air sensor, is cracked where the sensor actually is, and well there's no way to really tell if it works because it does not trigger the check engine light, im about to order a replacement for the MAF though, but my problem is im experiencing a very slight vibration in the car, the car drives very smooth, but at idle the car is a little rough, and example would be like it feels like a diesel truck inside...hard to explain...but any ideas? if it is a miss-firing it would let me know with the CEL

could be multiple things, usually if it is a misfire it would throw a check engine light. But it could be the following:

    Ignition coils

    spark plug wires

    spark plugs

    fuel injector

low compression on one or more cylinders

    intake gasket leak

    vacuum leak somewhere else

    sticking valves

    worn camshaft

carbon build up on piston causing high compression on one piston

    exhaust leak before o2 sensor

bad o2 sensor ( usually sets light)

    carboned up throttle body

    head gasket leak

    bad piston rings

This is what I can think of off the top of my head.

what is upsetting is that this car only has 36,000 miles.....I should of got the extended warranty lol, well this is my first problem really with the car. Well, i just got back from my mechanic, he used one of those scanning tools, and they put it on the dyno and drove it, he said it feels like a miss-fire, but says he cant tell what cylinder it is until the CEL comes on....which i dumb, because you can if you just pull the plug 1 by one from each coil until the car does not react. But i ordered my mass flow air sensor, because its badly cracked, going to replace that then see how it goes.

Im gonna clean my throttle body out too....just incase.

Like Languy said, it could be a bunch of things of which he indicated the usual suspects.
One thing i'd be suspicious of is that the ignition coil for one of the cylinders went bad and was changed out. Could be that cylinder's sparkplug was partially to not firing at all with the bad coil causing that spark plug to carbon up. I'd for sure pull that plug.

How many miles does the car have?

The easiest simplist cheapest thing you could try assuming its a dirty fuel injector is to pour a good quality injector cleaner into the gas tank.

car has 36,000 miles, every other fuel up i pour in the Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner lol, I baby my car. When the last coil was replaced, so was the spark plug

Yezzir, lol the Fitch fuel isn't on. I purchased it, and took it to my mechanic and he basically told me I wasted my money and he wouldn't recommend installing it. I have a full set off coils here though in-case i need to replace them....which looks like I will have too. It just makes me mad that I just had this done...lol

Yeah, but I thought I would ask here. A lot of knowledgeable people on this forum, so why not haha. I got more response on this forum than the Caddy one...

you can still find a misfire if your mechanic is smart enough, you can use a scope that shows all of the ignition patters and see if one looks different. You can also use the same scope to check out all of the injectors to see if they have a problem. Does it do it all of the time or after it warms or just when cold?
