Manual transmission cars...will you buy one?

With today's dual clutch autos you can shift faster than you can with a manual. Hell, even manuals have auto blip when you down shift. Will you still buy a manual?

People are too d@m lazy these days to shift gears. Reminds me of a drug I had to order. It was food supplement because someone was too lazy to chew their food so they want pills.

I prefer a manual

just try 'rocking' a vehicle[mud or snow] with an auto trans

Auto = needing a tow
Stick = getting home on my own

Depends on the car. Im happy with the automatic in mine. Id go insane in traffic in the city with a manual. Id much prefer a DCT with paddle shifters though (like the M3).

Manual would be fun on the country backroads, but they're not practical anymore. Fuel efficiency of modern automatics are as good or better, and in most cases they're faster as well. Id have just as much fun with the aforementioned DCT with paddles.
