AHEM...I believe that article should have been named:
"Why a $42,305 Ford Mustang is as Much or More Fun Than an Unnamed $150,000 European Sports Car."
I'm a huge Ford guy, but I just can't get into the new Mustangs at all. If I was in the market for a new Mustang, I would probably consider one of these new models, just because of the engine. When it comes to looks, they've ruined it in my opinion. BUT I did say that about the last style as well, and that style did grow on me. Maybe this one will too, although I do seriously doubt it. They're just a bit too modern looking for my liking.
Regardless, I'm happy to see these more powerful Stangs. It wouldn't take a whole lot of money to make one of these 5.0 cars one badass ride.
I think its the best looking Mustang in a long time. Loved the power of the 2003-2004 Cobra Terminators, just never cared for the looks. The new Mustang has the looks and the power from a NA engine... supercharged it must be brutally fun.
Funny though how they had to shoot for the magical 5.0 number, its a great marketing tool due to the nostalgia it gives some. Can't help but think of this:
I'm all for the new Rustang. I think it's unbeatable for the price, and if I were in the market at that price range, and only buying new cars [not that I would], I'm pretty sure it would be at the top of my list.
However, the car he drove is about 40% more expensive than the title states, and that's irrelevant anyway because the title is retarded. For $150,000 I'm buying a Porsche GT3 RS and smoking the Rustang in absolutely every single category: Exterior, interior, straight line speed, 0-60 times, quarter mile times, road course lap times, autocross lap times, smooth road handling, rough road handling...I mean really, it's a great car, but it makes you sound like a dumbass and a fanboy to make claims like that.
