I wonder how that car will sell. It's a lot of car, but it's still a hyundai.
It reminds me of the Volkswagen Phaeton that came out in 2004. It was a beautiful car (a8/ 4door bentley) but it didn't sell well and the resale was horrible. It had a W12 too.

I don't think Hyundai will ever have a strong enough name to sell anything above $40,000 well. The M3 sedan sells for less than this thing does, and you get a hell of a lot more car with it. I'm not sure what they were thinking ...

You get more performance with a M3, but more luxury with the equus.
I'd never buy one, and I'm not sure who would. For half of that I'd get a town car. These really aren't my type of cars though. My favorite luxury sedan's are the Lincoln Town Car the Rolls Royce Phantom. Have you seen a phantom in person? That's a helluva car man!
The equus starts at $58k. I predict terrible resale value for these.
I do believe car companies (Kia and Hyundai) are making some better cars. They're just not for me.
It looks like you get an iPad with it for the manual.

How did “Radar Roy” Dominate Radar Detector Sales Online When He Never Sold A Single One?
Sales came easily. He sold you a persona. He sold “Radar Roy.” He sold an ex-cop and expert. He sold a guy who was nice enough to cross over from being “the man.” He shared knowledge and recommendations directly with his “Perfect Customer.” His message created their “Fantasy Result” of not getting speeding tickets. And oh by the way, if you had interest in buying a radar detector, Roy Reyer’s Radarbusters network of 45 websites would also be nice enough to sell you exactly what you needed. This is how he built the multi-million dollar online empire that totally dominated an industry.

Re: Have the people at Hyundai lost their minds?
We considered a Hyundai before getting my Nissan. The decision was made for us when (1.) we saw the construction of the interior of the first Accent we looked at, and (2.) the second sales guy refused to show us anything other than a used Tucson, even after I told him up and down I was only interested in the Accent and *maybe* the Elantra if there was a good deal on a used one.
Hyundais are decent for a "my first car" kind of deal, but anything else and I'd be looking at a different brand.
