If a turbo swap is mostly stock, WTF is heavily modded?

Evos are quick I must admit. I would be surprised if you got him in the quarter mile.
Evo 9's run 12.7-13.0 @ 105-108 mph stock in the quarter. They also pull 1.6-1.7 60 ft bone stock. All of this with 250 whp. Mine has 350 whp. Quick lil car but I have met guys who own SuperDuties with well over 1200 ft lbs of tq. That sh#t is insane...

I've never driven anything with nearly that amount of power so I can't even imagine, but is that even a useful amount of torque? How fast do they have to be going before stomping the accelerator does anything except liquify the rear tires?

I would say it would be something like this..
Bored out block, bigger pistons, piston type, new cam, heads port & polish, and so on you get the idea.

My Cobra came stock with 390 hp all I did to get it to 530 was a catted x pipe, flowmaster mufflers, cold air intake, swapped out the blower pulley (went from 10 psi to 14 psi) and a custom tune. The motor is still stock the way it came from the factory (except the pulley). This is considered light mods.

You must have missed the part where they altered the compression ratio.. Thicker head gasket or lower compression pistons mean they pulled the heads. Bigger turbo. Fuel system overhall. We are talking well over 10K in mods. That truck is far from mostly stock.

I wanna see an in cabin video of the run.

Top speed is impressive, does not mean its godly quick though.
