The week, unless your one of the Beatles, only takes care of seven of your vehicles. Is the 8th one for leap days?

At present, I drive a '98 Saturn SL2 sedan, silver, 5 speed manual, DOHC engine, a bit over 85K on the odometer. Well equipped for a Saturn (power windows, locks, keyless, ABS, traction control, fog lights and sunroof). It's not an exciting car by any stretch (except for the fact that it's a stick shift, if not for that I would have gotten rid of it out of sheer boredom), but it has served as cheap and reliable transportation for the past 8.5 years. My V1 is hardwired into this car, and I also have an Escort hardwire kit for my X50.

I'll do 80 or so on the highway and it's still smooth. I don't like to push it much faster though.

My wife's car is a brand new squall blue 2006 Mazda6 sport wagon. 215 hp 3.0 V6, 6 speed automatic. Nice car, and it flies. We got the wagon since we need one car that we can fit things in and we didn't want a SUV. My X50 is now a semi-permanent resident of this car, since this car doesn't like speed limits much.

If I were to get a new car now, it would be either a Mazda3 GT, Mazdaspeed6 or an Audi A4. But I don't have the money for either.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

    Here is my current beater

The pinion bearing is on it's way out and the steering feels very oddly loose and crosswinds really throw it around (balljoints, bad alignment something like that) so I'm scared to top 130 in it. I did hit 140 briefly but it wasn't very fun. I don't even bother with the RD for the most part  Soon I'll be in the turbo again then we can have fun
